Intimate Stage Bus Jazz to Interactive Activation Successfully Attracted the Attention of Thousands of Visitors to the Java Jazz Festival 2026

JAKARTA - The excitement of the myBCA International Java Jazz Festival 2026 which took place for three consecutive days on May 29-31 successfully attracted the attention of thousands of music lovers.

Taking place at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE), Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2 area, Tangerang Regency, Banten, this cross-generational jazz music festival is not only a stage for musicians to show off, but also a space for exploring lifestyles for young visitors through an epic collaboration with MLDSPOT.

The collaboration that has been closely intertwined for more than fifteen years with Java Festival Production proves MLDSPOT's consistency in guiding the shift in the trend of Indonesian music.

At this year's event, three strategic points were presented to crowded visitors, namely MLDSPOT Hall, MLDSPOT Stage Bus Jazz, and Fresh 'n Cool Booth.

Nathaniel Widhiyanto Utomo as the Representative of MLDSPOT said, a fresher concept transformation was presented to answer the current audience's character without having to abandon the roots of jazz music itself - making it a relevant platform to build emotional closeness with young audiences.

"Java Jazz has managed to develop without abandoning its identity as a jazz festival. The presence of musicians across genres makes this festival closer to the younger generation, while still relevant for music lovers from various backgrounds," said Nathaniel in his statement, Tuesday, June 2.

In the MLDSPOT Hall area, thousands of spectators were spoiled by a series of stunning performances from Harvey Malaiholo who collaborated with Barsena Besthandi in Tribute to Indonesian Divas, Andien, Citrus Sun, Jenevieve, Idgitaf, Wijaya 80, Jamie Aditya, Sandy Sondoro, Oslo Ibrahim with eHarbourside Jazz, to the duet action of Adikara and Ardhito Pramono.

The equally magical attraction is also reflected from the MLDSPOT Jazz Stage Bus which is positioned in the food bazaar area. Carrying a stage on the body of the bus, this area presents a much warmer, casual, and barrier-free performance atmosphere. A series of performers ranging from Almira's Infinite Playground, Hezky Joe Sextet, Biru Baru, Jordan Susanto, Gabriella Fernaldi, Dua Empat, Emptyyy, Arumtala, Monita Taleha, Coldiac, to Mocca managed to steal the hearts of festival visitors.

The vocalist of Mocca, Arina, had expressed his concerns before going on stage, because the stage was close to the culinary area, where the focus of the audience was prone to be split. However, the extraordinary enthusiasm of the visitors immediately broke the concern.

"We thought that the attention of visitors would be divided between eating and watching the show. It turns out that it is actually the opposite, on the MLDSPOT Stage Bus Jazz stage in the shape of a bus, the atmosphere is very crowded and warm. Many people sang along and we were touched to see the audience memorize Mocca's songs," said Arina.

In line with Arina, bassist Mocca, Toma, also appreciated the concept of a bus stage which he considered very unique and effective in sparking public curiosity from a distance. The limitations of space on the bus actually became a magical spark of intimacy between musicians and their loyal fans.

"The concept is unique and interesting. From a distance, people are immediately curious. There are indeed challenges because of the limited size of the stage, but it is precisely that which makes the experience of performing on the Stage Bus special," added Toma.

In addition to presenting quality musical treats, MLDSPOT also pampered visitors through a series of interactive activations at the Fresh 'n Cool Booth located at the intersection of the main path connecting the indoor and outdoor areas.

In the midst of the hot festival weather, facilities such as Fresh Box that sprays instant cold fog and Quick Refresh Zone with a giant fan installation became the favorite location for visitors to recover stamina.

The interactive experience is enhanced by the presence of MLDSPOT and Go, a mobile photobooth service that actively approaches visitors to capture spontaneous, aesthetic moments.

In addition to the Fresh and Cool Message Box, the Special Mini Show session from Endah N Rhesa, Grace Sahertian & Omemi, Joe Soegono, and the lively Karaoke Night Session, MLDSPOT successfully presents a complete, fresh, and memorable festival experience for the new generation of Indonesian music lovers.
