PT Taspen explained that the amount of the 13th salary was based on the income component received in May 2026. The 13th salary is also not subject to deductions or other deductions, including pension loan installments, except for income taxes borne by the government.
For ASN and state officials who enter retirement starting June 1, 2026 and onwards, the 13th salary payment is made by the last place of work.
The government emphasized that the disbursement of the 13th salary was a form of appreciation for the state apparatus as well as an effort to maintain people's purchasing power in the midst of increased spending needs in the middle of the year.
