Supported by Carry and Hybrid, Suzuki Sales Grows Significantly in April 2026
PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) recorded positive achievements in retail sales during April 2026. From the data received, the delivery of units from dealers to consumers increased rapidly by 33 percent compared to the acquisition of March in the same year.
Meanwhile, referring to Gaikindo data, Suzuki's retail sales in April 2026 successfully broke through the 5,965 unit mark or increased by 46 percent compared to the same period last year.
Cumulatively from January to April 2026, Suzuki managed to release 24,991 units of vehicles to the market, with the figure claimed to have increased by 33.8 percent.
Donny Saputra as Deputy 4W Sales & Marketing Director of PT SIS, stated that the increase reflects consumer confidence in Suzuki products.
"This growth is driven by the strong contribution of the commercial vehicle line, as well as the increasing public interest in hybrid models in the Suzuki passenger vehicle segment," he said in an official statement received, Monday, June 1.
If detailed in more detail, the Suzuki Carry still contributes greatly with a figure of 51 percent, while hybrid cars such as the Suzuki Fronx and Suzuki XL7 show a spike with each contributing 17 percent and 15 percent filled with other models.
Interestingly, locally assembled products are still very strong for Suzuki car sales, even dominating up to 91 percent of the total units sold are the result of domestic production.
This shows that the public's interest in locally made cars is still very high.
