The number of casualties on the Eid al-Adha holiday in Turkey tends to increase, this year a bus collision killed a baby.

JAKARTA - A bus unit was involved in a fire accident in Turkey, killing 8 people, including a 9-month-old baby boy.

The tourist bus carrying 38 passengers and three staff members crashed into a highway divider in Denizli Province on Sunday, May 31 at 01.40 local time.

Citing the Turkish news agency, Demiroren via AP, the bus departed from the Izmir region to the Mediterranean Sea-side city of Antalya.

A total of 33 people were injured in this incident. The bus driver, who is 50 years old and the father of the baby boy, was also killed.

Post-accident photos published by the media showed the charred bus frame on the side of the road.
