Andien Announces the Presence of a New Album at the Java Jazz Festival 2026 Stage

JAKARTA - Andien successfully hit the stage at MLD Spot Hall on the second day of the myBCA International Java Jazz Festival 2026 which was held at NICE PIK 2 on Saturday, May 30.

Appearing elegantly, the 40-year-old soloist not only satisfied the longing of fans through a series of hit songs, but also brought surprising news regarding his musical career journey.

Andien opened her repertoire that night with the old numbers "Keraguan" and "Gemilang". In between her performances, she joked about the cold in the new venue which made her mistake in costume.

"How? Cold? Is it all cold? I usually tell my stylist, 'the clothes shouldn't be too covered'. Now, why is the shirt without sleeves? It feels cold," said Andien.

However, the warmth was created immediately when he invited the audience to reminisce about 2010. Andien performed two B-sides from the Kirana album, "Kusadari" and "Kirana", which he admitted was rarely performed live on stage.

The peak moment came when the singer with the full name Andini Aisyah Haryadi reflected on her 26 years of journey in the Indonesian music industry. In front of hundreds of pairs of eyes, she officially announced that she would release her ninth studio album in June.

"It turns out that 26 years in the Indonesian music industry also did not dampen my spirit at all to continue working. It seems that there is still a thirst every year, if you can, you want to release something new again," said Andien.

"So tonight I also want to announce to all my friends that in June I will release a work, my ninth album," he continued.

Andien pum gave a clue by singing the latest song titled "Manusia Favorit". He admitted that he was nervous because he had to perform the song for the first time on a large scale stage.

The sweet song was dedicated specifically to his mother and sister who were present in the front row, as well as all music lovers who crowded the MLD Spot Hall area.

Andien's stage performance that night was closed with a touching performance through a series of songs "Jatuh Pelan", "Nostalgia Rasa", and "Pulang", which successfully ended the full meeting of impressions on the stage of this year's Java Jazz Festival.
