IRT Found Dead with Full of Wounds, His Body Was Accompanied by His Son Inside the House
Kendari - The Kendari City Police (Polresta) are intensively investigating to uncover the cause of the death of a housewife (IRT) with the initials AS (24) who was found dead in her house in South Konawe Regency (Konsel), Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra).
Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the Kendari Police, AKP Welliwanto Malau, said the body of the victim was first found by residents in the BTN Rezky area in Ambepua Village, Ranomeeto District, Konsel, in a state of bruises, on Saturday (30/5).
"The US victim was found with bruises on several parts of the body and suffered a broken arm," said Welliwanto.
Welliwanto also said that based on the initial examination of the medical team and investigators, a number of physical injuries were found scattered on the victim's face, arms, shoulders, and thighs.
When found dead in the victim's room, it was found that he was with his son who was about two years old.
"Before he was found dead, the victim was suspected of having been involved in a domestic quarrel or quarrel with her husband on Friday (29/5) evening," he said.
For the sake of further investigation, he said, the personnel of the Kendari Police Criminal Investigation Unit had carried out the crime scene and evacuated the victim's body to the Bhayangkara Hospital Kendari.
"The victim's body has been taken to Bhayangkara Hospital Kendari for an autopsy to find out the exact cause of death," said Welliwanto.
He said the police were collecting evidence and examining witnesses to find out the chronology of the incident. The police have also secured the victim's husband, who has the initials IS (28).
"Until now, the victim's husband is still undergoing an in-depth examination at the Kendari Police. We also examined a number of witnesses from the family and neighbors around the victim's house in order to get a light in the case," said Welliwanto.
