New Norwich Sponsors Use Models That Imitate Oral Sex Poses, Angry Fans

JAKARTA - Norwich City are ready to return to the Premier League after winning the 2020-2021 Championship season. They have even agreed a new major partner sponsorship deal with Asian betting company BK8.

But it wasn't long before The Canaries fans realized that the organization their club chose to partner with had some very explicit marketing methods.

BK8 has pictures of models with very revealing tops and the video shows them 'mimicking oral sex' to promote the gambling business.

And this angered the Canaries supporters.

"Within an hour of sponsorship being announced, Norwich fans did more background checks than the rest of the club, messy," said one fan.

"Norwich had a shocking morning. I have no issues with betting companies but their online profile is so sleazy and embarrassing," another commented.

Following the outrage of fans, Norwich immediately deleted the post. BK8's Instagram page is now no longer working.

A club representative said: "The club worked quickly with BK8 to remove posts following the announcement of the new partnership.

"This posting and marketing is not in line with Norwich City's broader vision and values and we will review our due diligence process going forward."

Meanwhile, the Asian betting company said: "Following the concerns and concerns raised by Norwich City Football Club and its supporters following this morning's announcement, BK8 wholeheartedly apologizes for any offense caused by our historical marketing.

"We accept that this form of marketing is incompatible with a Premier League partnership.

"We have immediately removed all marketing material of this kind and will be conducting a review of our marketing strategy going forward."
