UNM Accelerates Digital Human Capital Investment through the Achievement Scholarship Program

JAKARTA - The increasingly tight competition in the digital industry encourages higher education institutions to strengthen investment in human resources development (HRD).

Responding to this need, Nusa Mandiri University (UNM) presents the Great Scholarship Program for students who have achieved excellence in both academic and non-academic fields.

This program targets students with achievements in various fields, ranging from scientific olympiads, writing, sports, cultural arts, school organizations, to digital competencies and other ability tests.

The Head of the UNM Rawamangun Campus, Maruloh, said that today's labor market needs are no longer only focused on academic ability, but also experience, creativity, and adaptation to industry changes.

"Achievement is not only about academic grades. Many young people have extraordinary talents in the fields of organization, sports, art, and other competencies. Nusa Mandiri University wants to provide space and appreciation for them through the Great Scholarship Program," said Maruloh.

According to him, strengthening the quality of human resources is an important factor in supporting the growing national digital economy ecosystem.

Apart from the scholarship program, UNM is also developing an industry-based education model through the Internship Experience Program (IEP) 3+1.

The program allows students to undergo three years of lectures and one year of professional internship at partner companies.

UNM said the program was supported by more than 300 national and multinational companies to increase the work readiness of students before graduation.

Through this scheme, students are expected to have early professional experience as well as build a working network in the digital industry sector.

"As a Digital Business Campus, UNM continues to encourage students to develop into superior talents who are ready to compete in the modern industrial world with the spirit of Changing Dreams into Achievements," he concluded.
