NCT Doyoung Donates 100 Million Won to Military Suicide Prevention Program
JAKARTA - NCT Doyoung donated 100 million Won or Rp1.1 billion to the Korea Foundation for Suicide Prevention. He donated to support military soldiers from preventing ending their lives as well as the families left behind by deceased members.
The donation was announced by the foundation by adding a statement from Doyoung. The NCT member is currently serving his mandatory military service.
"One of the things I often tell fans is 'Tomorrow will be happier than today'," said NCT's Doyoung.
"Even though there are many times when one day feels heavy, but I believe that in the end, tomorrow will change you in a happier and warmer direction than today. I hope this donation shows that I support you and I hope this gives everyone the strength to find courage," he continued.
This donation will later be given to prevention programs for military soldiers who are fighting for life and the families of those who have ended their lives.
Jung Yoon Soon Foundation Chairman also said, "Doyoung's contribution and sincerity will be a life-saver for those on the verge of despair."
Currently, Doyoung is serving as a military soldier since December 8, 2025. Previously, Doyoung also donated to celebrate his birthday on January 30.
Even though he is in the military, his voice can be heard through several works. Doyoung participated in filling the soundtrack for the series Boyfriend on Demand and the Korean drama Filing for Love played by his brother, actor Gong Myung.
