Lalamove Indonesia Records 47 Percent Growth in Long-Distance Shipments in Early 2026

JAKARTA - Lalamove Indonesia recorded a 47 percent year-on-year growth in long-distance delivery services in the January-April 2026 period compared to the same period last year.

This growth is driven by the increasing need of business actors for fast and flexible distribution services without having to increase logistics fleet investments.

Managing Director of Lalamove Indonesia Andito B. Prakoso said that logistics needs are now expanding into inter-regional distribution services.

"Lalamove wants to continue to be a logistics partner that can help businesses grow through flexible and easily accessible delivery solutions," said Andito.

Internal company data shows that the majority of long-distance deliveries are in the range of 50-80 kilometers with a contribution of 78 percent of total deliveries.

Meanwhile, shipments of 80-100 kilometers amounted to 9 percent and above 100 kilometers reached 13 percent.

The routes most used include Jakarta-Tangerang City, Jakarta-Cikarang, and Jakarta-Bandung.

In terms of fleet, the bak pickup truck is the most widely used vehicle with a contribution of 27 percent, followed by vans at 22 percent and sedans at 21 percent.

The company also noted that the retail and wholesale sectors were the business categories that most utilized long-distance delivery services.

To support cross-regional services, Lalamove provides a direct toll payment feature through the application to facilitate the distribution process.
