President Prabowo Celebrates Eid al-Adha in Paris, Warm Atmosphere with Indonesian Diaspora

Paris - President Prabowo Subianto carried out the Eid al-Adha prayer 1447 Hijriah at Wisma Indonesia, Paris, France, Wednesday, May 27. President Prabowo Subianto departed for Paris for a state visit.

The President's presence in the congregational prayer was a warm moment for Indonesian citizens and the diaspora in France. Accompanied by the sound of takbir, at around 08.40 local time, President Prabowo arrived at Wisma Indonesia and immediately went to the ranks to join in chanting takbir with the congregation present, to then follow the series of Eid prayers.

The prayer was held solemnly, followed by Indonesian citizens and the Indonesian diaspora who had been present at the Wisma Indonesia since the morning. The Eid al-Adha prayer was led by the imam and the imam, Fakhruddin Arrozi.

He is an alumnus of the S2 of the International Islamic University of Islamabad, Pakistan, and currently works as a lecturer at the University of Muhammadiyah Lamongan. After performing the Eid al-Adha prayer, President Prabowo greeted Indonesian citizens and the diaspora who attended the congregational prayer.
