Jasa Marga Transjawa Implements Services to Anticipate the Surge in Mobility for Eid al-Adha Holidays

JAKARTA - PT. Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has activated the Trans Java Route operational service as a step to anticipate the surge in passenger mobility during the Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah holiday period, which is projected to take place from May 27 to June 1, 2026.

"We have prepared various anticipatory steps to ensure that road users' journeys remain safe, comfortable, and smooth during the long holiday period," said Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal PT. JTT Ria Marlinda Paallo as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 27.

The readiness of operational services during the long Eid al-Adha holiday period 1447 Hijriah is carried out through the optimization of transaction services, traffic services, readiness of officers and monitoring of traffic conditions in real time.

A total of 17 Palimanan direction substations and 13 Jakarta direction substations have been alerted to optimize transaction services at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate on a situational basis to support the smooth flow of vehicles according to traffic conditions on the ground.

The optimization of the transaction substation is also accompanied by the readiness of operational officers at the main toll gate, especially on sections with the potential for increased traffic volume such as the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, Palimanan-Kanci, Semarang Sections A, B, C, to Surabaya-Gempol.

His party also alerted the traffic service fleet, which operates 24 hours a day, consisting of 31 units of cranes, seven units of ambulances, six units of rescue, 17 units of Highway Patrol, and 19 units of Mobile Customer Service.

"These fleets are on alert to support emergency handling, maintain the smooth flow of traffic, and provide a sense of safety and comfort for road users," he said.

Furthermore, traffic conditions are monitored in real time through surveillance cameras (CCTV) which are integrated with an information control center and supported by Dynamic Message Signs to provide up-to-date traffic information to road users.

His party also continues to coordinate with the Police and related stakeholders in anticipating potential traffic congestion, including situational traffic engineering based on the Police's discretion if necessary, adjusting to conditions in the field.

Ria appealed to road users to plan their trip well, ensure that vehicles are in good condition, avoid driving when tired and ensure that there is sufficient electronic money balance before entering the toll road.

"Road users are also expected to always comply with traffic signs and instructions from officers in the field to support safe, smooth and comfortable travel during the long Eid al-Adha holiday period," he said.

Road users can access the latest traffic information through the official channels of the Jasa Marga Group such as the 24-hour call center at 133, the Travoy application, and the company's official social media.
