President to France, Palace Has Not Confirmed the Location of the Iduladha Prayer

JAKARTA - The Presidential Palace has not confirmed the location where President Prabowo Subianto will perform the Eid al-Adha prayer in 1447 Hijriah. Because, the President is still abroad on a working visit to France.

Deputy Minister of State Secretary Juri Ardiantoro said the President's agenda on Eid al-Adha would adjust to the situation in the country where he was.

"Mr. President was on a working visit abroad, to France, last night. So, of course, it will be adjusted because it will still be there on Wednesday," Juri said at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, May 26.

The jury did not explain whether the President would pray Eid al-Adha in France or follow other arrangements of the presidential protocol. He only asked the public to wait for confirmation of the agenda. "We'll just wait," he said.

The certainty of the location of the Eid al-Adha prayer of the President is a concern because at the same time the Palace announced the distribution of 1,098 sacrificial cows from President Prabowo. The assistance was distributed to all provinces, regencies, cities, pesantren, religious institutions, religious figures, and community leaders.

Of that amount, 598 cows were given to the local government. The rest, 500 cows were distributed to educational institutions, pesantren, social institutions, religious institutions, and community leaders.

The palace said the budget for the sacrificial cow assistance came from the state budget through the President's community assistance post. The value is around Rp. 100 billion.
