President Prabowo Subianto Shares 1,098 Sacrificial Cows, Total Rp100 Billion

Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto distributed a total of 1,098 sacrificial cows with a total budget of approximately Rp. 100 billion on Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah. This was conveyed by Deputy Minister of State Secretary (Wamensesneg) Juri Ardiantoro at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, May 26.

The jury explained the details of the distribution of sacrificial cows. A total of 598 cows were distributed to 552 areas. The number of cows differs from the number of areas, according to Juri, there are areas that cannot provide cows with the standard weight of the President's cows, 800 kg to 1.3 tons. So the cows provided are 2 in 46 areas.

Then 500 sacrificial cows were handed over to educational institutions to community leaders. According to Juri, the message from President Prabowo is that the beef is distributed to the community in need. The types of cows distributed by President Prabowo are Simental, Limousin, Peranakan Ongole, Brahman, Angus, Bali, Friesian Holstein, Belgium Blue, and Charolais.

Juri also ensured that the cows were obtained from local farmers. Juri also explained that the President's community assistance cows came from the state budget with a value of approximately Rp. 100 billion.
