PT DSI Will Recruit Professionals, Dony Oskaria: The Source Can Come from Anywhere
JAKARTA - PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (Persero) or DSI will soon open a recruitment of professional employees after officially holding the status as a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE).
For information, DSI was formed as an export agency for strategic natural resources commodities (SDA) which is under the Danantara ecosystem.
Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Agency (BP) and Danantara Chief Operating Officer (COO), Dony Oskaria, said the recruitment process would be carried out professionally through a special team.
"There is a team, so there is a team that does the recruitment process. We have to make this very good, right. So there is a team, the source can be anywhere, professionals of course," said Dony at Wisma Danantara, written Tuesday, May 26.
Meanwhile, Danantara's Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Pandu Patria Sjahrir, emphasized that DSI is a truly new state-owned enterprise, not the result of transformation or name change from existing state-owned enterprises.
This distinguishes DSI from a number of other new SOEs that were born in the era of President Prabowo Subianto's administration, such as PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) which is a transformation of PT Indra Karya (Persero), PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara (Persero) which was previously named PT Yodya Karya (Persero), and PT Agrinas Jaladri Nusantara which is the new face of PT Virama Karya (Persero).
"No (it came from the old BUMN)," said Pandu briefly.
Based on company data recorded at the Directorate General of Legal Administration (AHU) of the Ministry of Law, previously PT Danantara Investment Management (Persero) was recorded as the holder of 99 shares of DSI series A, while PT Danantara Mitra Sinergi owned 1 share of B series.
However, after officially becoming a state-owned enterprise, the ownership structure changed. The state through BP BUMN now holds 1 percent of the Series A Dwiwarna shares, while the Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI) holds 99 percent of the Series B PT DSI shares.
Interestingly, the change in the status of DSI to a state-owned enterprise took place very quickly. The company was only registered with the Ministry of Law as a national private company on May 18, 2026.
This means that in just about a week since its establishment, DSI has officially changed its status to a red plate company.
