Police Member Involved in Drug Trafficking at B Fashion Hotel Is Investigated for Criminal-Ethical
JAKARTA - The Narcotics Crime Directorate of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the National Police revealed that there were members of the police in the case of alleged drug trafficking at the B Fashion Hotel, West Jakarta.
The police officer, whose initials are AFH, is a visitor to the B Fashion Hotel, who was arrested in a raid at the hotel and has been named a suspect.
"Yes, the police. We do not cover the individual (who is involved, ed.)," said the Director of Narcotics Crime Investigation of the National Police, Brigjen Eko Hadi Santoso, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, May 25.
He said that currently the members of the police have been dealt with both ethically and criminally.
Previously, Eko Hadi revealed that it was suspected that ecstasy and vapeetomidatedi B Fashion Hotel were secretly circulated by several employees and visitors who provided narcotics outside of management.
"From the results of the examination of the management of B Fashion Hotel and The Seven Spa, it was found that the parties within the operational structure of the business knew about the use of drugs," he said.
In this case, there are a total of 14 suspects, with six of them being hotel visitors. In addition, three people were also included in the search list (DPO).
The total amount of drug evidence that was successfully seized in this action was 16 pieces of ecstasy and 111 pieces of vapeetomidatesebanyak. If converted, the number of lives that have been saved from this disclosure is 127 lives.
Eko Hadi also revealed that the drugs that had been distributed at the B Fashion Hotel during its 12 years of operation were estimated to be ecstasy of 328,500 to 657,000 pieces with a value of Rp328 billion to Rp675 billion and 21,900 to 54,750 pieces of vape oil worth Rp65 billion to Rp164 billion.
"The conversion of souls who are suspected of consuming ecstasy and vapeetomidatedi B Fashion is estimated to be around 339,450 to 684,375 souls," he said.
