Jaecoo Celebrates the Success of J5 EV with Weekend Drive at PIK, Find Out the Fun

JAKARTA - The Chinese automotive brand Jaecoo has achieved success in the Indonesian automotive market, evidenced by as of April 2026, as many as 16,000 units of Jaecoo J5 EV have been delivered to consumers. In fact, in just four months (January-April 2026), the car dubbed The Real SUV managed to become one of the best-selling EV models in the country with retail sales of 10,587 units and wholesales of 11,006 units.

Celebrating this achievement, Jaecoo Indonesia held the JAECOO Weekend Drive Together for More event in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area. This event is a place for Jaecoo Family to meet each other, consisting of consumers, communities, media, and automotive lovers.

"Through this event, we want to present more than just vehicles, but also build closer relationships with communities and customers through a comprehensive ownership experience, from the sales process, to the choice of accessories to support vehicle personalization, to the readiness of after-sales services," said Business Unit Director JAECOO Indonesia, Jim Ma, in his remarks at PIK, Sunday, May 24.

Through the theme of Together for More, Jaecoo wants to present more than just vehicles, but also build connections and lifestyles together with the Jaecoo user community in Indonesia.

One of the main agendas in this event is the Jaecoo Community Sharing Session, where users and the community share firsthand experiences regarding the use of the J5 EV in daily activities, operational cost efficiency, and the driving comfort felt while being part of the Jaecoo family.

This event also presents a display area for Jaecoo J5 accessories that showcases various options for vehicle personalization to support the modern lifestyle needs of users.

The presence of this official accessory is part of Jaecoo's efforts to provide a more personal and premium ownership experience for consumers. Accessories displayed include Car Subwoofer, Karaoke Mic, Trunk Light, Submarine pet box, Trunk Pet Compartment Net and others.
