BNI Strengthens Digital Ecosystem and Global Market to Boost National Economy

JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI has reaffirmed its commitment as an Indonesian global bank that is actively encouraging national economic growth through strengthening global connectivity, developing a digital ecosystem, strategic collaboration, and sustainable financing support.

The commitment was conveyed by BNI Treasury & International Banking Director Abu Santosa Sudradjat in the Business Talk "The Bankers" discussion session at the 2026 Jogja Financial Festival series which was held on May 22-24, 2026 at the Jogja Expo Center and GIK UGM, Yogyakarta.

On this occasion, Abu emphasized that the role of banks is no longer only as an intermediary institution, but also as a strategic partner that helps national business actors connect with the global market.

"As one of the banks in Indonesia that has an international network, BNI plays a role as a bridge that connects national business actors with the global market. Not only providing financing, BNI also supports international transactions, trade finance, business matching, to market information access for Indonesian business actors," said Abu.

In line with this commitment, continued Abu, BNI also continues to strengthen support for MSMEs through the BNI Xpora program so that they can increase business capacity, accelerate digitization, and open up export opportunities and international business partnerships through BNI's global network.

BNI itself has built an open banking ecosystem through the strengthening of digital transaction and cash management solutions, as well as presenting digital services such as wondr by BNI and BNIdirect to support the needs of retail and corporate customers.
