PK Entertainment Group Transformation into a Creative Ecosystem, Ready to Develop Music to Film
JAKARTA - PK Entertainment Group announced a major transformation to strengthen the integrated creative ecosystem in the country. After eleven years of success as a promoter behind the grandeur of various international musician concerts, the company is now expanding its business lines into the music sector, film production, strategic investments, and regional-scale creative partnerships.
This step was taken as a form of adaptation to the massive shift in the behavior of young consumers, especially Generation Z and millennials.
Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of PK Entertainment Group, Harry Sudarma, explained that this transformation reflects how the dynamics of the entertainment industry are evolving so quickly. Armed with more than a decade of experience, his party no longer wants to be known only as an event facilitator or event organizer.
"Our business transformation is a reflection of how consumer behavior in the entertainment industry continues to evolve. Armed with eleven years of experience and a deep understanding of the audience, PK Entertainment Group is now moving beyond its role as a concert and event organizer to become one of the drivers in building Indonesia's creative economy infrastructure," said Harry at a press conference in Kuningan, South Jakarta, Friday, May 22.
Furthermore, Harry emphasized the importance of creating a platform that can facilitate the need for entertainment on an ongoing basis.
"We want to build an ecosystem that can grow together with its consumers," he added.
To date, PK Entertainment's international promoter line has successfully brought more than 30 world-class concerts with a total reach of over one million spectators in Indonesia. Not only that, through the PK Events unit, they have also handled more than 500 commercial entertainment experiences for dozens of large multinational companies.
To strengthen this new ecosystem, PK Entertainment Group established PK Music which focuses on boosting the local music industry in order to bring local talents to the global stage. This unit has even started regional expansion to Malaysia and Singapore.
In the film sector, through the PK Films unit, they target ten new big screen projects throughout 2026, collaborating with several production houses such as MVP Pictures, BASE Entertainment, and Wahana Kreator.
On the same occasion, Founder and CEO of PK Entertainment Group, Peter Harjani, emphasized that the current creative industry landscape requires an immersive connection and strong culture around the audience community. Single businesses are considered unable to survive long-term changes in market interests.
"Now, audiences are increasingly looking for personal, immersive, and community-based experiences, so collaboration is the most relevant way to reach them in various entertainment sectors. From live entertainment, films, music, to creative ventures. We believe the future of the entertainment industry will be owned by ecosystems, not stand-alone businesses," said Peter.
As part of its long-term projection, PK Entertainment Group also officially introduced K+ Entertainment. This project is the latest strategic collaboration unit between PK Entertainment Group and CT Corp which is specifically designed to bring a massive cultural and entertainment experience to the Indonesian public in the future.
