DKI Rombak Alpukat Betawi, Login Now Can Use IKD and Biometrics
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Office (Dukcapil) has relaunched the Alpukat Betawi application version 2.0 with a number of feature updates. The population administration service application is now equipped with biometric login to integration with the Digital Population Identity (IKD).
The launch was held in conjunction with the 118th National Awakening Day. The DKI Provincial Government said that the update of the application was carried out to answer the high demand for digital-based population administration services in Jakarta.
Head of the DKI Jakarta Civil Registry Service Denny Wahyu Haryanto said that Betawi avocados have been used since 2019. However, the high activity of residents and the increasing expectations for digital services make the system need to be updated.
"Betawi avocado is the mainstay application of the DKI Jakarta Civil Registry since 2019 as a response to answering the needs of Jakarta residents with high activities that require services at hand," said Denny in his statement, Thursday, May 21.
"In line with the dynamics on the ground and the increasing expectations of residents regarding the performance of the system, technical constraints and speed in processing applications, we are making improvements, updates and developments so that they are faster, practical and convenient for Jakarta residents," he continued.
In the latest version, the Betawi Avocado is equipped with a number of additional features such as KYC (Know Your Customer) verification, "remember me" feature for NIK storage, biometric login, to the KTP-el printing service that can be delivered to the applicant.
In addition, residents can now also log into the application using the IKD account through the single sign-on (SSO) system. According to Denny, the integration was carried out because the achievement of activation of DKI Jakarta residents' IKD had exceeded the national target.
"The achievement of activation of IKD residents of DKI Jakarta has reached 35.93 percent or exceeded the national target of 30 percent set by the Directorate General of Dukcapil of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Therefore, in the new version of Alpukat Betawi, we designed the SSO login feature with IKD to make it easier for Jakarta residents," said Denny.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Information and Technology Management Unit of the DKI Jakarta Civil Registry Service, Hari Wibowo, said that the services in the application currently include printing KTP-el, Family Card, Child Identity Card, to birth certificates.
"The services available at Alpukat Betawi currently include printing KTP-el, printing the Family Card (KK), printing the Child Identity Card (KIA), and birth certificates for residents who do not yet have NIK," said Hari.
DKI Dukcapil noted that on the first day of the launch, there were 345 accounts that registered on the application. Applicants are given a maximum of three days to complete the documents after creating an account.
"If it is more than the deadline, then the citizen's application will be reset automatically or the applicant must reapply," said Hari.
In addition to updating digital services, DKI Dukcapil also added hours of population administration services through the Friday Afternoon program, SAPA or Saturday Administrative Services, to pick-up services for schools, residential areas, and offices.
