BYD M6 DM Cross Price Leaked, Here's the Manufacturer's Response

JAKARTA - Not officially launched, the price of the M6 DM Cross is rumored to have leaked on social media. The MPV that comes with the latest technology is said to be priced starting at Rp. 310-380 million.

Responding to the price, Head of Marketing PR & Government Relations BYD Indonesia, Luther T. Panjaitan, revealed that it had not become an official price that would be announced to the public.

"That is not the official price that BYD will officially release. It is only an indication price that we convey to the sales network as a reference," he said, when met at the BYD Tech Culture Fest event in the GBK area, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, May 20.

However, the man who is familiarly called Luther stated that the indicative price is likely not to be much different from the final price (official price).

"It can go up or maybe even down from the indication price," he added.

Furthermore, he said, with this indicative price, it is hoped that it will help prospective consumers who want to immediately make a purchase, especially for those who have been waiting for the MPV's arrival.

"With the indication price, hopefully consumers will be more confident in making decisions. Because usually this concerns the needs that want to be as soon as possible so that they can make purchases at the beginning," he explained.

As previously reported, BYD officially introduced the latest technology some time ago. DM is an abbreviation of Dual Mode, which is a combination of EV + Hybrid, an EV-oriented driving technology designed to provide a more flexible and comfortable mobility experience, while presenting a total cost of use that is more efficient and relevant to the needs and purchasing power of the wider Indonesian community.
