YG Entertainment Reveals TREASURE's Debut In July 2020
JAKARTA - It has been delayed for so long, the TREASURE group will finally make their debut. This was confirmed by YG Entertainment as the main agency through a teaser video released Tuesday, May 12.
"Upcoming TREASURE Debut," wrote YG Entertainment. The group formed by the YG Treasure Box competition appears in the motion video.
Not much information is provided in the video other than the 12 group members dancing and their names. The video is TREASURE's performance with the song Going Crazy which was released at the end of January. The words 'July 2020' were inserted into the teaser.

Looked back a little. After leaving one of its members, Ha Yoonbin, TREASURE's debut was further delayed due to changes to several plans in early 2020. Some of them are the joining of the TREASURE and MAGNUM groups into one group and agency support by allowing members to compose songs and produce lyrics.
The debut, which never happened, also became a conversation among fans and asked the agency that oversees BIGBANG to make a debut immediately. The upcoming July will be the answer for fans who are ready to welcome TREASURE.
The twelve members confirmed to debut under the name TREASURE are Choi Hyun Suk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Mashiho, Yoon Jae Hyuk, Asahi, Bang Yedam, Doyoung, Haruto, Park Jeong Woo, and So Jung Hwan.

Coming from the competition, TREASURE members often show their abilities through a number of cover songs, such as Bang Yedam with Pink Sweat $'s Honesty, Park Jeong Woo with Ruben Studdard's Superstar song, as well as dance performances by Choi Hyunsuk and Doyoung.
Before making their debut, TREASURE personnel had shown their daily lives through the TREASURE YouTube channel and a number of photo shoots.
The video for their debut announcement was greeted with great fanfare with an audience of more than 100 thousand, 1 hour later after being uploaded at 7 o'clock this morning. This news has also made the hashtags #TREASURE_DEBUT_ON_JULY and #TREASUREisCOMING top ranking Twitter social media.
TREASURE will be YG Entertainment's newest project after debuting BLACKPINK in 2016. Their debut will be made after BLACKPINK's comeback in the same month.
