Mercedes-Benz Opens Studio in Seoul, Targets New Customers Through Brand Experience

JAKARTA - Mercedes-Benz Korea will open a brand experience studio in Seoul this week. This space is prepared to introduce Mercedes-Benz products, images, and services more closely to customers.

Yonhap quoted Tuesday, May 19, reported that the Mercedes-Benz Studio will open on Tuesday in Seongsu-dong, a popular area in Seoul. Seoul became the fifth city in the world to have a special studio owned by the German luxury car manufacturer.

Mercedes-Benz Korea CEO Mathias Vaitl said the studio was a way for the company to introduce brand values and direction to both existing and potential customers.

"Through the Mercedes-Benz Studio Seoul, we aim to consistently communicate the values and direction of our brand, deepen our relationship with existing customers, and reach new audiences," Vaitl said at a press conference, as quoted by Yonhap.

Seoul Studio is part of Mercedes-Benz's global initiative this year. The program is held in 18 major cities around the world to expand the meeting point with customers and strengthen the brand experience.

Mercedes-Benz says the studio's exterior design in Seoul was inspired by Mannheim, the city where Carl Benz founded his factory. The design was then reinterpreted with a modern architectural approach.

In the lounge area, visitors can see various lines of Korean Mercedes-Benz vehicles, including the latest models.

The opening of this studio shows that Mercedes-Benz does not only rely on a regular showroom. In the luxury car market, the customer experience is now an important part of how brands maintain closeness with their consumers.
