WNA New Zealand RMS Investigated by NTB Police for Sexual Exploitation
MATARAM - The case of alleged sexual exploitation involving a foreign citizen (WNA) from New Zealand with the initials RMS has entered a new phase. The West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police (Polda NTB) officially raised the status of handling this case from the investigation stage to the investigation stage.
Director of Women and Children Protection and Eradication of Human Trafficking (Ditres PPA-PPO) of the NTB Police, Police Commissioner Ni Made Pujawati, confirmed the surge in the status of handling the case of the female seagull.
"It has been investigated," said Police Commissioner Ni Made Pujawati when confirmed briefly via written message, Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
Although the case has risen in fingerprints, Kombes Pujawati is still reluctant to reveal more about the legal status of the New Zealand bule. The police chose to remain silent when asked whether RMS had officially been named a suspect or not.
The sexual harassment scandal first rolled onto the green table after three local residents reported the RMS's obscene actions to the NTB Police at the end of January 2026. In filing a lawsuit, the three victims received full control from the Mataram University Legal Consultation and Assistance Bureau (BKBH).
Chairman of the Unram BKBH, Joko Jumadi, confirmed that his party had obtained a green light regarding the progress of this investigation. The brown-shirt investigator team plans to hold a case to determine the suspects in the near future.
"The information was conveyed orally at that time, our follow-up asked when the case was titled, he said after checking some additional witnesses. Yes, so, there should be a determination of suspects in these weeks, according to what the police promised, we will wait," said Joko Jumadi.
Joko ensured that the RMS is currently within the range of monitoring radar. It was reported that it was detected to be located in the Sekotong area, West Lombok Regency, specifically at a hotel owned by him with the initials SF.
Stuck in a Bizarre Sexual Fantasy Bule Couple
Based on the investigation and legal assistance of BKBH Unram, it was revealed that the modus operandi of RMS to trap the victims was terrible. Of the three local victims who complained, one of them was a man. The three were forced to enter the trap of the reported deviant sexual fantasy world.
This case began when one of the female victims knew RMS for quite some time until he promised to marry her. Believing in the sweet talk of a serious relationship, the female victim then introduced RMS to two of his colleagues.
The accident, when the meeting took place, the RMS actually launched his perverted act. He forced the three local victims to have sex together, alias a threesome. Ironically, RMS's wife, who is also a foreign citizen, took part in satisfying her husband's perverted sexual fantasies.
This sexual disaster was recorded in mid-July and September 2025. Not only satisfying lust, RMS even documented the scene of forced intimacy. BKBH Unram stated that he had secured evidence of the video recording to be handed over to the investigating table.
In order to recover from the deep trauma caused by the exploitation, the Unram BKBH continues to provide intensive psychological assistance to the three victims. Thanks to the long-term psychological therapy, the victims are now reported to be slowly getting up and getting back to life by working in one of the hotels in the Senggigi area, Lombok.
