To Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, Ridwan Kamil Asks For His Deputy's Prayer For Healing
JAKARTA - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil asked Vice President Ma'ruf Amin for prayers for the recovery of Deputy Governor Uu Ruzhanul who was positive for COVID-19.
The prayer request was conveyed by Ridwan Kamil in his speech at the National Vocational Meeting and the Inauguration of the 2020 Community Work Training Center (BLK) at the Cipasung Islamic Boarding School, Tasikmalaya Regency, Tuesday.
Currently, said Kang Emil, Pak Uu, Uu Ruzhanul Ulum's nickname is in self-isolation. He hoped that the Deputy Governor would soon recover and return to his activities.
"We ask for prayers, Mr. Vice President (KH Ma'ruf Amin), Mr. Deputy Governor, we are self-isolating due to exposure to COVID-19 two days ago, hopefully he will recover as soon as possible," said Ridwan Kamil as reported by Antara, Tuesday, June 8.
The governor added that the fatality rate in West Java is one percent and one of the lowest, where 99 percent of COVID-19 cases can be cured.
"COVID-19 in West Java has one of the lowest fatalities. In other words, 99 percent of COVID-19 cases in West Java have recovered and are being healed. God willing," said Ridwan Kamil.
He is grateful that West Java residents have a penchant for eating vegetables, from cooked to raw, with good nutrition, which can increase immunity so that the body's immune system when exposed to COVID-19 is relatively strong.
"That's because the people of West Java like to eat lalab," said Kang Emil.
The governor mentioned the Lebaran homecoming event some time ago, it turns out that West Java residents are quite obedient to the rules for prohibiting going home.
"Alhamdulillah (residents) obeyed 99 percent of the time they didn't go home, only one percent leaked. God willing, it will be more under control," he said.
