Rifky Alhabsyi Reveals the Struggle of the Baby Fund Program until He was Blessed with a Child

JAKARTA - Waiting for the arrival of a child is often a journey full of hope and emotion for many married couples. Not a few have to go through a long process, various medical examinations, to pregnancy programs in order to get a baby after years of marriage.

The happiness is now felt by the couple of artists Rifky Alhabsyi and Yulia Rahmayani who finally gave birth to their first child after nine years of waiting. The baby was born on Friday, May 15, 2026 and was named Muhammad Rafasya Zayyan Alhabsyi.

"Our child's name is Muhammad Rafasya Zayyan Alhabsyi. It weighs 2.455 grams, 45 cm long. Born Friday at 08.05 am," said Rifky at a press conference at the Smart Fertility Clinic at Primaya Evasari Hospital, Jakarta, Monday, May 18.

Rifky revealed that the journey to get offspring was not easy for him and his wife. They even had a point of resignation after years of waiting for the arrival of a child.

"I and Yulia have been waiting for nine years. We have fallen and risen through the process, even thinking, 'Well, it's all right. If it's not given, it's okay, maybe it's already over.' We have been at that point," said Rifky.

However, the two chose to continue trying and praying to realize the dream of having a child. Since 2018, Rifky and Yulia have undergone various examination and treatment processes.

"If you count it, we have met eight doctors in three different hospitals. We have been through this process since 2018," said Rifky.

The couple eventually underwent in vitro fertilization or IVF as a step to get offspring. The decision was made after Yulia had problems with the reproductive tract and had to undergo surgery to remove the second tube or salpingectomy.

On the same occasion, Specialist Gynecologist and Gynecologist, dr. Darma Syanty said, every couple does have different challenges in getting pregnant.

Moreover, in the case of the artist couple Rifky and Yulia, after the examination, Yulia has certain conditions so that further treatment is needed so that the chance of pregnancy can increase.

"In the case of tubal damage that can no longer function, IVF can be the best choice. During treatment, we managed to collect at least 16 eggs, which were then fertilized and transferred to Yulia's uterus," explained Dr. Darma.

In addition to the success of the IVF program, Yulia's delivery process was also supported through integrated maternal services, including the ERACS (Enhanced Recovery After Cesarean Surgery) method combined with TAP Block (Transversus Abdominis Plane block) to minimize and be able to immediately be active.

Both of them are grateful that the little one was born healthy, through monitoring to the right medical procedures.

On the other hand, dr. Nuvi Nusarintowati, Sp.A., Subsp. Kardio(K), Pediatric Specialist Subspecialist Pediatric Heart Primaya Evasari Hospital said, newborn care is an important part of ensuring baby health from the beginning of life.

Rifky and Yulia's children have been thoroughly monitored for the baby's condition since birth, including initial examinations and education to parents so that the baby's adaptation process goes optimally.

"The arrival of a child after a long wait is certainly a very valuable moment, so we want to ensure that mothers and babies get the best support from day one," he said.

As part of the integrated maternal service, the hospital also has lactation education, OAE (Otoacoustic Emissions) examination for newborns, early vaccination of infants, to family support during the delivery process and the mother's recovery period.

"I can even accompany the delivery process, so it becomes a very valuable moment for both of us. After delivery, my wife still gets attention and assistance during the recovery period, including spa & facial services, so that Yulia can undergo the recovery process more comfortably. We are very grateful that we can finally go through all these processes and welcome the arrival of our baby," concluded Rifky.
