J-hope and V's Response After Drake Mentioned BTS in His New Song

JAKARTA - Two BTS members, J-Hope and V, couldn't hide their surprise after BTS' name was mentioned by Drake on his latest album, "Iceman".

Through a short video upload on Instagram Story, the two K-pop stars were seen spending time together in a room.

Initially, they seemed to be enjoying dancing with full energy while listening to Drake's new song titled *Make Them Cry*.

However, the atmosphere instantly changed when Drake sang lyrics that compared his career journey with BTS' massive popularity.

"I'm feeling like BTS, 'cause it took the whole career for me to be so discovered (I feel like BTS, because it took my whole career to be discovered like this)," Drake's lyrics read.

Hearing the verse, J-Hope and V immediately stopped their movements. The two stared at the camera with a blank expression on their faces as if they couldn't believe it. Not long after, they looked at each other with blank eyes full of disbelief.

There was no caption on the video upload, but V put a question mark and marked Drake's official Instagram account as a form of response to the tribute.

This interaction between Drake and BTS is actually not the first time it has happened. In 2018, the Grammy-winning rapper included a video of J-Hope doing the In My Feelings Challenge.

For information, the song "Make Them Cry" is part of the album "Iceman" which contains 18 songs.

The release of his own album was a big surprise because Drake suddenly launched three albums at the same time, namely "Iceman", "Maid of Honour", and "Habibti".

On the other hand, BTS is also enjoying great success with their latest studio album, "ARIRANG", which was released in March.

The album was successful in staying at the top of the Billboard 200 for three consecutive weeks, while its main song titled "SWIM" immediately shot to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 shortly after its release.

Currently, BTS is busy with the world tour agenda and has just completed three consecutive nights at the Estadio GNP Seguros, Mexico.
