Persib Bandung U-18 Academy, Hydroplus Soccer League Bandung Champion

JAKARTA - The Persib Bandung U-18 Academy managed to win the Hydroplus Soccer League Bandung (HSLB) football event after recovering from a deficit to defeat Goal Aksis in the last week's match.

The last week's match of the league initiated by the Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation and Hydroplus took place at the Pusdikpom Field, Cimahi, West Java on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Persib Bandung Academy collected a total of 40 points in the final standings to secure the title.

Head Coach of the Persib Bandung U-18 Academy, Dian Nadia Mutiara, said that he had some notes that needed to be improved before competing in the next competition.

"In the first half we have to be more ready when we are on the field. Don't let it go down at the beginning. They were not ready to play. So, maybe in the future we have to be more ready from the first minute to the last minute," he said.

In the duel, Persib Bandung Academy turned the tide in the second half thanks to three goals created by Keyra Az-zahra (43), Dwi Aprilia Harahap (65), and Fatima Isya Daud (68) to close the match with a score of 3-1.

As for the U-15 category, the title was secured by Mojang Priangan after successfully stopping Setia Srikandi with a score of 4-0 in the last match. Mojang total collected 46 points or the same as their rivals Goal Axis, but superior in goal scoring so they are entitled to the trophy.

Head Coach Mojang Priangan, Imam Sujagad, admitted that he was happy to help his team become champions. He assessed that this success was inseparable from the hard work of the players who had fought to the maximum during the league.

"Alhamdulillah for the results of the league matches in the last week, we were able to maximize it with the goal aggregate because our points were the same, chasing each other, but we emphasized to the players to score goals," said Imam.

The Hydroplus Soccer League is held in four cities, namely Bandung, Jakarta, Surabaya and Kudus, since October 2025. This competition is attended by 50 U-15 teams and 27 U-18 teams.

This women's soccer league is a competitive tiered platform organized by the Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation. At the younger age level, there is the MilkLife Soccer Challenge which is held in 12 cities in Indonesia targeting the age of eight years, age group (KU) 10 years, and KU 12 years.

Program Director Hydroplus Soccer League, Teddy Tjahjono, explained that this competition is a continuation stage for potential female footballers to gain regular playing experience to hone their abilities.

"This is aimed at accommodating the talent and potential of female athletes who want to be more serious about football through league system matches so that every week the athletes can hone and evaluate their abilities," he said.

On the other hand, the Head Coach of the Indonesian Women's National Team, Satoru Mochizuki, considers this competition to be a very important platform in the growth of women's football in Indonesia. According to him, the experience from here will be very useful for the interests of the national team.

"I hope this program continues to be encouraged so that it can be better in the future. From the thousands of athletes who competed, we saw many potential talents emerge. Of course we will monitor further," he said.
