Starting from Ayam Goreng Berkah Rachmat in Jakarta which has maintained a traditional recipe since 1963, to Bakmi Keriting Singa from Medan which is known for its chewy noodle texture and authentic taste like home cooking. There is also Bakmi Setiabudi with large portions and abundant toppings, as well as Bubur Angke THI which has been loved for decades thanks to its soft texture and savory broth.
From Yogyakarta, Gudeg Mercon Sagan offers a blend of sweet and spicy flavors through its signature mercon oseng. Meanwhile, Medan presents a number of legendary culinary such as Kede Bubur with additional pitan eggs and seafood toppings, Kwetiau Ateng which is famous for its smoky aroma typical of wok hei because it is cooked using charcoal, to Mie Pangsit AON which consistently maintains its authentic taste since 1967.
Not only heavy food, traditional snacks are also on the list of customer favorites. Pia Tamiang from Medan is known for its crispy skin texture and soft filling, while Bu Nanik's Honey Fried Banana in Jakarta has a characteristic layer of caramelized honey that is crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Grab together with the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism is scheduled to hold the Grab 5 Star Awards award night on June 12, 2026 to announce the results of user-selected culinary merchant voting from 24 GrabFood and Grab Dine Out categories.
This event is also a form of appreciation from Grab for culinary industry players, ranging from MSMEs to large restaurants, who have managed to maintain the quality of service and customer satisfaction.
