Six Thugs Who Beat TNI At Bungurasih Terminal In Sidoarjo Arrested By Joint Team
SURABAYA - The escape of six suspected TNI attackers at Bungurasih Terminal in Sidoarjo Regency has finally come to an end. The six suspects were arrested by the Satreskrim team of the Sidoarjo Police along with the Intel Pasmar II Den.
"After the beating occurred on May 23, 2021. Officers continue to look for the suspects, and now they have been arrested in several places," said Sidoarjo Police Chief, Kombes Sumardji, at the Sidoarjo Police Headquarters, Tuesday, June 8.
The first suspect arrested has the initials UNH (21). After conducting an examination of UNH, information was finally obtained on the whereabouts of five other suspects. They are MRTR (22), FCP (23) who were also arrested in the Bungurasih Terminal area.
Then the suspect YMK (23) was arrested at his place of work in the Deltasari, Waru, Sidoarjo area. Meanwhile, two other suspects, NMDP (21) were arrested in Jombang, and RA (18) were arrested in Blega, Bangkalan, Madura.
"All the suspects are thugs who are troubling in the Bungurasih area," he said.
Previously, the joint team first arrested four suspects until the other six suspects were arrested. All of the perpetrators of the beating of one of the TNI members in Bungurasih have been arrested.
The suspects were charged with Article 170 paragraph (1) to 2 of the Criminal Code and or Article 351 paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code.
