Asabri Corruption Case, Attorney General Seizes Apartment Unit In Kuta Bali
BADUNG - The Special Crimes Team (Pidsus) of the Badung District Attorney's Office (Kejari) in Bali helped a team from the Attorney General's Office seize the assets of the suspect in the alleged corruption case of Asabri.
"This asset confiscation activity is carried out in the context of investigating corruption crimes that are being investigated by the AGO," said Head of the Badung District Attorney's Office I Ketut Maha Agung in a written statement, Tuesday, June 8.
The seizure of assets in Kuta Bali was carried out based on a confiscation warrant from the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus).
"With the aim of taking over and keeping under the authority of investigators an object related to a crime for the benefit of proving corruption in law enforcement," he added.
Maha Agung conveyed, based on a decision from the Denpasar District Court (PN) investigators were allowed to confiscate an apartment with a certificate of title covering an area of 48.23 m2 located in Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali. These assets are related to corruption crimes committed by IWBS suspects.
In addition, the Attorney General's Office assisted by the Badung Attorney General's Office has been tracking assets related to criminal acts.
"Consistency in handling corruption cases is a form of commitment from the Indonesian Attorney's Office in eradicating corruption in Indonesia," said Maha Agung.
