Rachel Vennya is said to be indifferent to the price of the house, Okin's legal representative: Why ask for a share?

JAKARTA - The statement of celebrity Rachel Vennya who claimed not to care about the selling price of the Kemang house as long as the child's obligations were fulfilled, was sharply highlighted by Niko Al Hakim. Okin's lawyer said the statement was contradictory to the points in the written agreement.

"The headline is 'doesn't care', only if we talk about facts, his statement is somewhat contradictory to the agreement that happened. If you really don't care, why is there a request for a share if there is an excess sale?" said Axl Matthew Situmorang in Jakarta, Wednesday, May 13.

Axl gave an analogy that if the house was sold above the obligation price of Rp. 4.1 billion, Rachel Vennya's party still asked for the difference in profit to go into her pocket.

"For example, the sale of Rp. 4.5 billion, there is a difference of Rp. 400 million, the excess. Well, the 400 is also asked by his ex-wife. It is written in the latest agreement dated May 9. So I can't talk casually," said Axl.

Apart from the problem of house prices, Axl also straightened out the past "sweet promise" that said the Kemang house was bought specifically for their eldest son, Xabiru. According to him, the current legal status of the house is different from the romantic narrative when they were still married.

"It's true that the house is for Biru, but that's a story when they were still together. With the divorce in 2021, the sweet promises when marriage should also be completed at that time legally," he explained.

Okin also touched on the plan to exchange assets between the Kemang house and Rachel's land in Bali, which has not been administratively realized. This is what makes the status of the Kemang house still belongs to Okin.

"Previously, Kemang verbally agreed to the former wife, the land of Bali for Niko. But it has not been handled by the administration until now. Last June 2025, when asked when the name change would be made, it did not work. Therefore, the house administratively still belongs to our client," explained Axl.

Regarding Rachel's claim that the house renovation was carried out, Axl said that Okin's party had never given permission or known the details of the renovation because the status of the house was still in oral dispute.

"You don't have any rights there, even if you want to renovate you should say it first. Our client doesn't know which renovation and when. It is proven that in the last agreement there is no claim for approved renovations," he added.

Despite the tension in the narrative on social media, Axl stated that his party still opened the door to the widest possible communication for Okin and Rachel to sit together without the intermediary of a lawyer.

"I don't limit Niko to speak directly to his ex-wife. We hope that these parties will meet directly to make peace, sit down together with a cool head for the sake of the children, and solve the problem," said Axl.

Axl closed by urging all parties to be fair in delivering information to the public so that there is no character assassination against his client. "We're just fair, don't be too harsh like that," he concluded.
