Minister of Finance Purbaya Says 45 Cases of Business Obstacles Have Been Successfully Resolved

JAKARTA - Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa stated that the business obstacle channel or debottlenecking received 142 complaints as of May 12, 2026, of which 45 cases have been resolved.

"As of today, there have been 142 complaints submitted through this channel. A total of 83 of them have been discussed openly and transparently to the public, and 45 cases have been resolved," said Purbaya as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 12.

On that occasion, he introduced the Government Strategic Program Acceleration Task Force (P2SP) which is tasked with facilitating business obstacles or debottlenecking for global investors.

The debottlenecking task force has been operating to overcome business obstacles for domestic companies since December 2025. However, said Purbaya, global investors are getting information about the presence of this complaint channel.

The Minister of Finance explained that the task force held periodic hearings to resolve complaints about business obstacles reported by business actors.

The government, he said, facilitates one to four cases of business obstacles per week. Purbaya ensures that the task force moves with an effective and efficient mechanism so that the process of resolving problems runs smoothly.

The trial was held in public to increase the transparency of the process and ensure that no party would miss out on the agreement that had been made.

The state treasurer said the presence of the task force was a form of government awareness to create a better investment climate so that the private sector could contribute significantly to national economic growth.

For this reason, he invited investors from various parts of the world to invest their capital in Indonesia.

"We will continue to hold this trial every week in the future. Therefore, business actors who face problems in running their businesses in Indonesia, please tell us. We ensure that these obstacles are resolved as quickly as possible," said Purbaya.

"Maybe in one or more discussions, but we will definitely finish it," he said.
