1. Meat and dairy products
Consumption of animal protein such as meat simultaneously with dairy products can put a greater burden on the digestive system. It takes a long time to process both foods.
For some people, eating a combination of meat and dairy products at the same time can cause an uncomfortable stomach, such as feeling full after eating.
2. Lemon and milk
Combining lemon and milk to be consumed at the same time is also not recommended. Lemon is a very acidic fruit, while milk contains proteins that can clot because they react with strong acids.
This condition eventually makes milk and lemon difficult to digest. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid consuming lemon, or other acidic foods such as oranges with milk.
3. Yogurt and fruit
Yogurt and fruit are often combined by many people as snacks or breakfast menus. Yogurt and fruit are healthy foods, but the combination of the two is sometimes difficult to digest.
Yogurt contains good bacteria and slow-digesting proteins, while fruits are easier to digest. These differences can cause fermentation in a sensitive stomach, especially in acidic fruits such as oranges or pineapples.
However, this does not mean that you should not mix fruit and yogurt at all. You can still mix it by choosing fruits such as berries or ripe mangoes, which tend to be easier to digest when combined with yogurt.
