Waiting For Zlatan Ibrahimovic's New Port
JAKARTA- Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave hints about the club he will defend in the near future. Currently the striker is in free agent status after his activities in Major League Soccer with LA Galaxy ended.
"I will join a club that has to return to (the path of) victory, which has to renew its history and is looking for a battle against everyone and everything," Ibra told GQ Italia, according to the newspaper Corriere della Sera, Wednesday, December 4.
The former Manchester United and Barcelona player insists it's the only way he can find the motivation needed to surprise all football fans again. It's not just about choosing a team, said Ibra, because there are other factors that need to be aligned, including for the benefit of his family.
"I'll see you in Italy soon," he continued.
All the clubs looking to get the Swedish man's signature - Milan, Napoli, Bologna and Roma - have won the Scudetto in their history. However, it is not yet known where Ibra will be anchored.
“There are players who play football and others think about football. When one person finds a new way of playing football, another can only follow.
“I like to make a difference. I don't just want to do a thing or two well, I want to do everything. "
Ibrahimovic also used his signature harsh words to Major League Soccer after two years with LA Galaxy.
He admitted that he was very happy to have the experience of playing in Los Angeles, especially after being injured. A lot of people say he can't play anymore, but he's shown them he can still make a difference.
“On a technical and tactical level, they (MLS players) still need to develop. They run, but are not used to playing with their feet, because all traditional American sports involve the use of their hands, "concluded Ibra.
