Trump-Xi Jinping to discuss world peace issues

JAKARTA - Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump will discuss bilateral relations as well as world peace and development issues during Trump's state visit to China this week.

"Chinese President Xi Jinping will have in-depth exchanges of views with US President Donald Trump on important issues related to China-US relations, as well as world peace and development," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said at a press conference, Monday, May 11.

Guo said China was ready to expand cooperation and resolve differences with the US to bring greater stability and certainty to the world.

According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Trump will pay a state visit to China on May 13-15.
