Revaldo Reflects a Lot on Himself After Playing the Film "Dosa: Penebusan or Pengampunan"

JAKARTA - Revaldo joined as one of the actors in Sondang Pratama's debut film, Dosa: Penebusan or Forgiveness. In addition, this film is the first production from Has Pictures after venturing into the digital world.

"The consideration is okay because they know me. First, I was asked to cast, okay. I cast, the process I walked in and I was given a script," said Revaldo in South Jakarta on Saturday, May 9.

Revaldo plays a driver named Nanang who plays a big role in the story. According to him, this role has many challenges that add to the impression.

"The challenges are many, but because these are my friends, I enjoy it because I know they won't ask for something I can't do," he said.

Not only that, through the film Dosa: Penebusan or Forgiveness, it also makes him reflect on his actions and attitudes in everyday life. He feels this film is not just a horror film but also has a life story.

"This was because Sondang wanted to read it. Sin is something we usually hear, that's it, but when I read it, I realized what he meant. When we have sins, we diminish the greater sins over time," said Revaldo again.

Sondang Pratama as the director also added, "This film Dosa is an example of some sins we have committed. Maybe after watching this, you can be loyal to your parents and live a family that is sakinah mawaddah warahmah and pengin after watching this, all of them become aware of not meaning to be admonished so that we become aware and maybe wrong and maybe given the opportunity to be better. "

Sin: Penebusan atau Pengampunan tells the story of Bima (Riza Irsyadillah) and his wife, Ersya (Ratu Sofya), who bravely set off out of town and stayed at the Samsara Hotel. There, they experience strange events that threaten their household.

The film Dosa: Penebusan or Forgiveness will be shown in Indonesian cinemas starting June 11, 2026.
