Police Keep Moving, Examine Other Witnesses In Case Of Leaking 279 Million BPJS Health Population Data
JAKARTA - The National Police Headquarters continues to examine parties related to the case of the leak of 279 million population data, BPJS Kesehatan. Later, investigators will determine the parties who will be questioned.
"Most likely it is still (examining witnesses). It depends on the interests," said Karo Penmas of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono to reporters, Tuesday, June 8.
In determining the witnesses who will be questioned, continued Rusdi, investigators will look for parties who can make the case clear.
However, for now there is no further information on who will be questioned in the process of investigating the case.
"Later, if there are parties that investigators believe can provide information so as to clarify the existing problems," said Rusdi.
On the other hand, Rusdi also said that in an effort to prevent the occurrence of similar burglaries, several agencies have collaborated to overcome them. However, the concrete steps are not described in detail.
"Of course, regarding this problem, the Police do not work alone. There is a BSSN involved, there is also a Kominfo to solve this problem. The Police are not alone, together with other agencies to solve this problem," he said.
In the process of investigating this case, the Directorate of Cyber Crimes (Dittipid) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police examined four witnesses. They come from the BPJS and the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN).
"The development is that we investigators are examining 4 witnesses. 2 from BPJS and 2 from BSSN," said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Argo Yuwono to reporters, Monday, May 31.
Not only that, the investigative team is also planning to examine several other witnesses. There are at least five vendor directors who will be questioned.
"We plan to take a statement on June 2, there are 5 vendors in the Directorate General of General Legal Administration (DG AHU)," said Argo.
Argo said that the summons for the examination had already been sent. So, just waiting for the five people to attend the examination.
"Of course the letter has been called (sent) today on May 31 to 5 vendor directors who will later be questioned," he said.
