Bolos Teacher Can Be Monitored from Jakarta

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto is preparing a smart screen-based school monitoring system that allows learning activities to be monitored directly from Jakarta.

The program was delivered by Prabowo when he had a dialogue with residents and regional heads at the Red and White Fishermen's Village (KNMP), Gorontalo, Saturday, May 9.

According to Prabowo, starting this year, each school will receive an additional three smart screens to support interactive learning and real-time monitoring of school activities.

"Later all classrooms will have smart screens," said Prabowo.

He said the technology would help schools in remote areas get teaching materials and direct teaching assistance from the center.

However, Prabowo also highlighted the oversight function in the system.

"We can monitor all classes from Jakarta. So if there are teachers who don't enter, we can see," he said.

Apart from education, Prabowo ensured that the Free Nutritious Meal or MBG program would be expanded to schools in need.

"This year, all schools that feel the need will be given MBG," he said.

Prabowo assessed that education was one of the main keys to strengthening the quality of Indonesian human resources in the midst of global competition.
