"This achievement shows that the national fashion and creative industry still has strong competitiveness in the midst of global market dynamics," he said.

BPS data in 2024, he continued, the number of fashion and creative industry business units at the IKM scale was recorded at 1.75 million business units with an absorption of around 3.69 million people.

"This amount is an important part of strengthening the national fashion and creative industry," he said.

He saw from the potential and strong industry ecosystem, especially in Bali, that there are 25 fashion IKM centers and 197 IKM centers.

"Thus, placing the province as one of the largest creative industry centers in Indonesia. Bali has a strategic role as a node for the development of the national fashion and creative industry," he said.

In addition, said Agus, Bali also has a very strategic role as a node for the development of the national fashion and creative industries. Not only serving as a production center, but as an important part of the creative industry ecosystem that is connected to both national and international markets.

Agus explained that BPIFK has a strategic role in improving the capacity and competitiveness of the fashion and creative small and medium industries. According to him, BPIFK programs are aimed at supporting the growth of new entrepreneurs, business incubator development, partnership improvement, IKM promotion facilitation, and strengthening the transformation of industry 4.0.

"We hope that the presence of BPIFK can be a catalyst for strengthening the national fashion and creative industry," he added.
