KM 21 Rest Area Service Station on the Jagorawi Toll Road Reopens to Serve Small Vehicles
JAKARTA - The General Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) at the KM 21 Rest Area of the Jagorawi Toll Road towards Jakarta can now be used again in a limited manner for small vehicles.
This followed the ongoing road pavement maintenance work in the gas station area by the manager.
Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division said that the road reconstruction work is targeted to be completed by no later than May 24, 2026.
Even though the maintenance process is still ongoing, services at the rest area are still operated to support the needs of toll road users.
Currently, the main road to the gas station area is temporarily closed due to repair work on the gas station entrance.
As an adjustment to operations, vehicles are directed to pass through the parking area below the left side of the rest area, then turn and enter from the right side of the gas station.
The toll road manager said that the alternative route can only be used by vehicles of Group I non-buses. Heavy-laden vehicles cannot pass through to adjust the access conditions at the work site.
In addition, the manager of the KM 21 Rest Area is also carrying out repairs to the connection of the Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG) system in the area of the fuel tank (BBM) which had been disconnected due to maintenance work.
During the repair process of the ATG connection, the KM 21 TIP gas station will temporarily only serve the sale of non-subsidized fuel.
"Other facilities at TIP KM 21 such as mosques, toilets, parking areas and food tenants also continue to operate normally," said Senior Manager Representative Office 1 Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division Alvin Andituahta Singarimbun quoted from a written statement, Friday, May 8.
Road users are also urged to anticipate fuel needs before traveling, comply with signs and instructions from officers in the field, and use the nearest rest area if necessary.
Jasa Marga together with the KM 21 Rest Area management partner also arranged the work area and placed officers to help the smooth running of road users' activities while at the location.
