BPK Member Haerul Saleh Dies, Damkar Shares the Chronology of the House Fire

JAKARTA - The South Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat Jaksel) explained the chronology of the fire at the house of member IV of the Financial Audit Agency (BPK) Haerul Saleh on Jalan TB Simatupang No. 3, Tanjung Barat, Jagakarsa.

"Initially, based on information from the local RT who saw black smoke billowing from the fourth floor of the burning house," said Head of the South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sudin Asril Rizal to reporters as reported by ANTARA, Friday, May 8.

Asril explained from the residents' statements, the fire was allegedly caused by the remains of the old house renovation.

Finally, the RT immediately contacted the Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-Directorate to ask for help.

South Jakarta Gulkarmat personnel carried out the blackout at 08.07 WIB and completed the operation at 08.46 WIB.

From the fire, it was stated that one victim died on behalf of Haerul Soleh (49).

"The victim has been handled by officers and taken to Pasar Minggu Hospital for further treatment," he said.

Until now, his party is still listing the amount of losses from the area of 5x10 square meters (m2).

A total of 48 personnel or 12 units of the South Jakarta Sudin Gulkarmat were deployed to put out a house fire at the house of member IV of the Financial Audit Agency (BPK) Haerul Saleh on Jalan TB Simatupang No. 3, RT03/RW02, Tanjung Barat, Jagakarsa.

Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman informed that Member IV of the Republic of Indonesia's Financial Supervisory Board (BPK) Haerul Saleh died after his house was hit by a fire.
