Saudi: Angkut Jemaah Haji Ilegal Didenda 50.000 Riyal dan Penjara 6 Bulan
JAKARTA - The Saudi Ministry of the Interior confirmed that residents and residents who transport people without a haj permit will be fined up to 50 thousand riyals (about 230 million rupiah) and a maximum of six months in prison.
Violators from among expatriates will be deported after serving their sentences and are prohibited from re-entering the Kingdom in accordance with legal provisions.
The ministry emphasized that a valid Hajj permit must be owned to carry out the Hajj pilgrimage.
All parties are asked to comply with the rules of the 1447 H Hajj season and cooperate with the relevant authorities for the safety and security of the pilgrims, with warnings that violations will be dealt with firmly.
The public is also urged to report violations by calling the emergency number 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the eastern region, as well as 999 in other regions throughout the Kingdom.
