Not because of Beauty, Vicky Shu Diet for Children and Mental Health
JAKARTA - Singer Vicky Shu's latest appearance has successfully caught the public's attention after successfully losing weight significantly. However, the singer of the song Mari Bercinta 2 confirmed that her physical transformation was not merely to pursue beauty standards, but for long-term health.
"The impact on the appearance is a bonus, but the body is healthier because my child is still small, yes. I got married at the age of 30, so I have children who are still small. I feel very loving my child more than myself," said Vicky Shu in South Jakarta, not long ago.
This mother of two realized that in order to take care of her active children, she needed excellent stamina. For her, the happiness of children starts from the condition of the mother who must also be physically and mentally healthy.
"So one of the efforts is that if the mother is healthy, the children will also be happy. Because in my mind, if the mother is happy, the children will also be happy," he continued.
Vicky Shu told that previously he had felt that his body had reached an unhealthy load point.
"At that time I was 74.7 (kg). And I'm big to my feet, yes, my feet are small. So I feel my feet are shaking like that, the portion is really big," he said.
This process also has a big impact on his soul's tranquility. Vicky admitted that he was much more relaxed in facing life's pressures since he had improved his lifestyle.
"Yes, but the most noticeable thing is that it is now calmer, yes, so it's okay, it's also an influence on mental health, so it's calmer, more relaxed," explained this woman who was born in Cilacap.
He also takes great care of his social circle to stay surrounded by good energy. For him, physical health is not complete without mental health being maintained.
"So I always try to keep my energy always positive. And if someone starts serving with negative energy, I'm like that. I'm kept away. The prayers are also taken care of. So take care of mental health and physical health," he said.
Even though his children are very active, Vicky now feels able to keep up with them. He feels he has new energy to accompany the growth and development of his two sons.
"The children at home because all my children are boys, yes, they are active. So if they are not active, they can't catch up. Their energy is boiling, so I feel that my age is a bonus, so how do I keep up with the little children like that," he added.
Finally, Vicky gave a warm message to mothers out there who might still feel insecure about their body shape.
"Actually it's normal, no matter how perfect it is, there must be insecure feelings. But I personally keep the positive energy going, because when we try to be positive everything will get it. So it's okay if for example insecurity is normal and human but still let's be positive," he concluded.
