New Chapter of the Dhani-Maia Feud: Official Reunion Breaks Up, There Will Be No More Family Meetings Forever

JAKARTA - The relationship between Ahmad Dhani and Maia Estianty seems to have reached a low point. Dhani stated that his large family had closed the door of communication and did not want to meet his ex-wife anymore.

"In the future, my family does not want to meet Maia Estianty again. The whole big family of my big family does not want to meet Maia Estianty again since Siraman yesterday, or since the wedding yesterday," said Ahmad Dhani in South Jakarta, Tuesday, May 5.

The main trigger for the anger of the Dhani family was Maia's attitude, which was considered to have no manners towards Ahmad Dhani's biological mother in the El Rumi pouring event some time ago.

"My mother was very offended, Maia never greeted my mother, didn't say hello, didn't say khrouten. So my mother was very offended. That's why why don't we all come to Bali (El's event)," said the father of five children.

Dhani compared his attitude to still respecting Maia's parents, even though they had been divorced for a long time and had a cold relationship.

"My people met Maia's mother, I kissed her hand. That's basic rather than manners, right. I met Maia's mother, I kissed her father's hand, I kissed her mother's hand. But this Maia, my mother was very angry," he added.

This decision will have an impact on the plans for the marriage of his youngest son, Dul Jaelani, in the future. Dhani ensured that there would be no more moments of togetherness for the two families.

"Later I will make my own mantu download. Siraman, for example, with his mother, it's up to him, don't bother me. There will be no more family meetings. Learning from the experiences of Al and El, it turns out that we are in the wrong," said Dhani.

He also took a swipe at Maia, whom he considered only seeking stage or validation when television cameras or media were covering their children's activities.

"This person is thirsty for validation that he was hurt. When he was in Siraman Al, there was no TV, he didn't cry. When he was in Siraman El, because there were many cameras, he cried. He reminisced about the past," Dhani sneered.

For him, personal communication is impossible. Dhani admitted that he had often given warnings through his children but had never been addressed.

"Wow, it's hard (direct communication). I've been through Al, El, Dul many times. Why do you have to bring up the past again like that. Especially in front of Safeea he told the past, Feea was sad," he said.

Dhani closed his statement by emphasizing that the door of brotherhood was closed tightly and his children also understood the position of their father and his large family.

"The door of brotherhood is not, for what, it is also useless. Even though it is the mother of children, but the children also know what the condition is like," concluded Ahmad Dhani.
