Latest Wealth Report of Prabowo and Dozens of Cabinet Members Not Accessible, KPK Asked for Explanation
JAKARTA - Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) urges the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to speak out about the inaccessibility of the latest state organizer wealth report (LHKPN) belonging to President Prabowo Subianto and 38 members of the Red and White cabinet.
This demand was conveyed by Yassar Aulia as an ICW researcher at the Red and White KPK building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. According to him, the wealth report of Prabowo along with cabinet members is still not accessible on the official LHKPN page.
"The letter we sent asks the KPK for information regarding the explanation of why there are 38 members of the Red and White Cabinet, including President Prabowo Subianto here, whose wealth reports of the country's organizers have not been listed on the KPK's e-LHKPN website," Yassar told reporters at the location, Wednesday, May 6.
Yassar further alluded to the statement of KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo who said Prabowo together with his deputy, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, had submitted a wealth report on time. However, until May 4, the public has not been able to see how much the president's latest wealth and the other 38 cabinet members are.
"Again, as ICW tried to check from the KPK's own website on e-LHKPN as of May 4 yesterday, which is more than a month from the deadline, the names of the 38 members of the Red and White Cabinet are not yet there," he said.
This condition makes Yassar repeat the KPK's statement that enforcing the LHKPN is not just a formality. "There we can see whether there is an increase in unnatural wealth or there is wealth that is not as reported," said the anti-corruption activist.
As previously reported, the KPK stated that President Prabowo Subianto and his deputy, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, had submitted the wealth report of state organizers (LHKPN) for the 2025 period on time. This was conveyed by KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo who said that the deadline for reporting for those who must report had closed on March 31.
"The President and the Vice President have also submitted their LHKPN in a timely manner," Budi told reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, April 1.
Budi said that the wealth of the two could be accessed by the public openly through the lhkpn.kpk.go.id website. Prabowo-Gibran's compliance must be an example for all officials.
"How then we as state executors, as mandatory reporters and as civil servants, also have a high commitment to be transparent, to be accountable for the assets or property that we have as part of our series as state executors or mandatory reporters who are entrusted with a public office," he said.
"For this reason, the good example that has been given by the President and the Vice President is also an important note, of course, for the ranks in the Ministry, Institutions, Regional Governments, SOEs, and BUMD, so that they can then be able to follow the LHKPN as an instrument for preventing corruption," he continued.
