Chairperson Of The PDIP Kendal DPC To Be Present At The Social Assistance Case Session
JAKARTA - The Public Prosecutor's Team (JPU) at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will present 12 witnesses in the follow-up trial of the social assistance corruption case at the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) with the defendants Matheus Joko Santoso and Adi Wahyono.
Of the dozens of witnesses who will be presented, two of them are the Chairperson of the PDI-Perjuangan DPC Kendal Regency, Akhmat Suyuti and the former Expert Staff as well as the Juliari Coal Technical Team, Kukuh Ary Wibowo.
"Witnesses presented by Kukuh Ary Wibowo and Akhmat Suyuti," said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri in his statement, Tuesday, June 8.
Then, for other witnesses, they were Raka Iman Topan, Dino Aprilianto, Kuntomo Jenawi, Rocky Josep Pesik, Raj Indra Singh, Merry Hartini, Irman Putra, Chandra Andriati, Mochamad Iqbal, and Go Erwin.
"(They are) witnesses for the Ministry of Social's trial today," said Ali.
For information, the name of the Chairman of the PDI-Perjuangan DPC Kendal Regency, Akhmat Suyuti is often mentioned during the trial of the social assistance corruption case.
He is said to have received 50 Singapore dollars from the former Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Juliari Peter Batubara. However, the money was returned to the KPK when the corruption case was still being investigated.
Meanwhile, Kukuh is said to have provided a table of companies working on the COVID-19 social assistance project that are required to deposit fees to Matheus Joko and Adi Wahyono.
