Opening Inabuyer Expo 2026, Wamen UMKM Targets Transactions to Reach Rp2.5 Trillion
JAKARTA - The Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026 activities were officially held starting today, Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
This is the fourth Inabuyer event after it was successfully held on July 23-25, 2025.
It is known that the Ministry of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) together with the Indonesian Association of Retailers and Shopping Center Tenants (Hippindo) will again hold the Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026 exhibition on May 5-7.
The exhibition provides an opportunity for MSMEs to expand their markets and raise the class of their products.
Deputy Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) Helvi Moraza targets that the value of Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026 transactions reaches IDR 2.5 trillion, a significant increase compared to the previous year's achievement.
Helvi said that the market potential for MSMEs is very wide open, especially through government spending commitments.
According to regulations, he said, there is a minimum allocation of 40 percent or around Rp. 400 trillion from state spending that is dedicated to UMKM products.
"Last year, we recorded transactions of Rp. 2.1 trillion. This year, we are targeting success with a figure of Rp. 2.5 trillion. The government has opened the widest possible opportunities," Helvi told reporters at the Smesco Building, Jakarta, Tuesday, May 5.
He added that this target not only targets government spending through LKPP, but also involves the role of the private sector, ranging from retail outlet owners to entrepreneurs who use UMKM products directly.
Even though the market opportunity is very large, Helvi reminded that the main challenge at this time is the internal readiness of MSMEs.
He highlighted the importance of formal standardization, consistency in fulfilling contracts, and completeness of business legality.
To answer this challenge, Helvi suggested that MSMEs implement the LIDI principle.
"I suggest that UMKM friends use the LIDI principle, loyalty, integrity, discipline and innovation. In the midst of technological progress, innovation is very important so that we do not lag behind," said Helvi.
According to Helvi, his party is committed to continuing to provide assistance so that local business actors can meet the criteria required by large buyers.
This includes improving product quality so that it can compete with imported products in the country.
"The question now is the commitment of the MSME actors themselves. We at the Ministry (of MSME) are tasked with encouraging it, ensuring that they are ready in terms of standards and consistency," he explained.
Various interesting agendas will be present at the event, including business matching, exhibitions of local and UMKM flagship products, panel discussions, talkshows, and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a cooperation contract between MSMEs and various parties.
In addition, the Inabuyer Award will also be given to entrepreneurs, ministries/institutions, SOEs and private companies that show significant innovation and contribution in supporting domestic products.
