Manggarai Transjakarta Stop Closed Starting May 6, Moved to Temporary Stop

JAKARTA - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) temporarily closed the Manggarai Stop starting Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 05.00 WIB. The closure was carried out in conjunction with the construction of the Jakarta LRT in the area.

As a substitute, passenger pick-up and drop-off services were diverted to Manggarai Temporary Stops 1 and 2 which are on the side of the road. This transfer applies to a number of routes that cross the Manggarai area.

Even though the main stop is closed, Transjakarta ensures that bus operations continue to run normally. Adjustments are only made at passenger service points around the project location.

Head of the Public Relations and CSR Department of Transjakarta, Ayu Wardhani, said this step is part of the integration of public transportation in Jakarta.

"This adjustment is part of Transjakarta's support for the development of integrated public transportation. We ensure that customers can still access the service through the temporary stops that have been prepared," said Ayu in a statement, Tuesday, May 5.

During the adjustment period, officers were also alerted in the field to help passengers, especially in directing the location of the temporary bus stop.

The routes that still serve this area through temporary stops include Corridor 4 Pulo Gadung-Galunggung, 4D Pulo Gadung-Kuningan, 6M Manggarai Station-Block M, and B25 Bekasi-Dukuh Atas.

The closure of this stop is expected to follow the progress of the LRT construction, while passenger mobility is expected to remain maintained through the transfer scheme prepared.
