Progress is 40 percent, the People's School in Jakarta is completed on June 20
JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) or HK said that the progress of the DKI Jakarta People's School (SR) has reached more than 40 percent and is targeted to be completed on June 20, 2026.
The commitment to accelerate development was emphasized through a visit by the Hutama Karya Board of Directors to the project site, Sunday, May 3, which was carried out by Director of Operations II Mardiansyah and Director of Risk Management Fatma Dewi Setyowati.
The visit was carried out as part of the management's escort for the implementation of the project as well as ensuring that all stages of work are carried out according to quality standards, timeliness, and occupational safety and health.
Acting Executive Vice President (EVP) Secretary of Hutama Karya Hamdani said that the visit of the directors was a form of the company's seriousness in overseeing the development of the DKI Jakarta SR.
"Through this visit, Hutama Karya confirms its commitment to continue to oversee the development of the DKI Jakarta People's School," said Hamdani, quoted from a written statement, Monday, May 4.
Hamdani said that his party was optimistic that the project could provide real benefits as a means of decent, quality and inclusive education for the community.
"At the same time, it is part of the company's support for the national development agenda in the education sector," he said.
The scope of work for the SR project in DKI Jakarta includes eight main buildings, namely teacher housing, school buildings, SD boarding houses and multipurpose canteens, SMP/SMA girls' boarding houses, utility buildings (MEEP), SMP/SMA boys' boarding houses, mosques, and landscape and area works.
Currently, the work being carried out includes the structure and architecture of the main building, wall work and initial finishing, mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations, utility work in the area to the arrangement of outdoor areas and project support access.
To support the acceleration of project completion, construction work is carried out using a three-shift scheme in a continuous manner.
Hutama Karya also strengthened coordination with all stakeholders so that the acceleration of work would continue to run according to quality standards as well as occupational safety and health.
